Still Life

It has been many years since I last ran my photo studio where I focused on product photography, yet I can’t seem to lose the desire for still life photography. I’ve left the commercial work behind, and continue with my fine art still life photography. Setting up curious juxtapositions of objects on interesting backdrops, sculpting them with light and shadow, and often photographing them on real film. All of that is like a meditation which takes my mind off of the worldly thoughts that often distract us from having a clearer mind.
