I've been out hunting for cool new antiques and vintage collectibles and am adding new products to my booth weekly! I've added several cool advertising tins, a really old split yoke handled shovel, a pair of fantastic small wooden drawers which are great for organizing things in, and a range of other items.
I also found this super cool primitive kidney shaped stool in a delightful chippy grungy blue paint! It is a really unique piece and uses a sliding dovetail design which attaches the legs to the seat. I re-glued everything to make it nice and sturdy again, but left the original paint as is. This will make an excellent piece of decor for someone's home or studio!
And stay tuned for more furniture pieces coming this week! I have an AMAZING super chippy antique medicine cabinet with a crazy cool color scheme of vintage pink, light green, and blue. Sounds nutty when I write it out, but you have to see it! I decided to put a waterbase clear coat over the chippy paint to help stabilize it so it is less likely to keep shedding paint chips.
I'll also be bringing a really nice vanity bench which I've repainted with chalk paint and have redone the padding and fabric on the seat. It's going to be a nice piece, photos to follow!
Lastly, I have an antique primitive chimney style cabinet to repaint and bring to the booth. I wish I could just leave the original paint as is, but it really needs to be cleaned up, repainted, and replace some of the hardware. It will be a really sweet piece once I spruce it up a bit!
