I've been wanting to make a tall work table with a simple primitive design, and finally did! It is a functional piece of furniture with a nice vintage primitive look to it. I used two shades of green milk paint plus antiquing wax to achieve the antique look and feel of this piece. I also used hemp seed oil over the paint to deepen the color and add some water resistance. It has all the charm of an antique piece combined with being made from new wood to make a piece that should last generations!
The table is approximately 36" h x 40" l x 18" wide and has removable shelves (they just lift out.) It would make a great farmhouse style kitchen island, a hall table, a potting table, or many other purposes.
This table is $125, and will be at my antique booth at School Days Antique Mall in Sturtevant, WI.
